Stan Bharti, P.Eng.

Stan Bharti has over 25 years of experience in operations, public markets and finance. Over the last 15 years Mr. Bharti has been involved in acquiring, restructuring and financing. He is a Professional Mining Engineer and holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from Moscow, Russia and University of London, England. From 2002 to April 2006, Mr. Bharti was a director and past president of Desert Sun Mining Corp. (which was acquired by Yamana Gold Inc. in 2006). In addition, Mr. Bharti is a director of several public and private companies.

Peter Tagliamonte, P.Eng., MBA

Mr. Tagliamonte is a professional mining engineer with over 25 years of progressive managerial experience building and operating mines. He was formerly the CEO and a Director of Sulliden Gold Corp. (acquired by Rio Alto Mining), President and CEO of Central Sun Mining Inc. (acquired by B2Gold) and Chief Operating Officer of Desert Sun Mining Corp. (acquired by Yamana) where he was responsible for the development of the Jacobina Mine in Brazil into a 4,200-tonne-per-day mining operation. In 2005, Mr. Tagliamonte received the Mining Journal's "Mine Manager of the Year" award in recognition for his work in the mining sector. Mr. Tagliamonte obtained his Mining Engineering degree at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario; he also holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Justin Reid, MSc, MBA

Mr. Reid is a geologist and capital markets executive with over 20 years of experience focused exclusively in the mineral resource space. Mr. Reid started his career as a geologist with SGS and Cominco Ltd after which he became a partner and senior mining analyst at Cormark Securities in Toronto. Mr. Reid was then named Executive General Manager at Paladin Energy, where he was responsible for leading all merger and acquisition, corporate and market related activities. He is the former Managing Director Global Mining Sales at National Bank Financial, where he directed the firm’s sales and trading in the mining sector. Most recently, he acted as President and Director of Sulliden Gold Corporation, until its acquisition by Rio Alto Mining in 2014. Mr. Reid holds a B.Sc from the University of Regina, a M.Sc from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Bruce Humphrey, P.Eng.

Mr. Humphrey is a mining engineer with over 35 years of experience working in senior management roles with both junior and senior mining companies. From 2007 to 2009 he served as Chairman of Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines Limited. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Desert Sun Mining Corp. from October 2004 to April 2006. From May 1998 to May 2004, Mr. Humphrey served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Goldcorp Inc.

Hon. Pierre Pettigrew, p.c.

The Honourable Pierre Pettigrew has had a distinguished career in both public and private sectors. From January 1996 to February 2006, he served as a member of the Government of Canada where he led a number of senior government departments in successive federal Canadian governments. Among other positions, he has served Canada as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister for International Trade and the Minister for International Cooperation. Hon. Pettigrew now works with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in the role of Executive Advisor, International. Prior to entering national politics, Pierre Pettigrew was the Vice President of Samson Belair Deloitte & Touche International in Montréal, where he acted as an international business consultant.

Diane Lai, MBA

Diane Lai has over 22 years of global experience in business development, management and acquisitions. She formerly worked at Vodaphone in the United Kingdom and Entrata Communications in California, before returning to Canada where she was instrumental in the acquisition of FloNetwork to DoubleClick and Platform Computing to IBM. Diane's entrepreneurial nature led to the launch of a successful organic skin care company in 2010. She formerly held Board positions at Windmill Line Co-Operative, Cloverdale Inc. in Bermuda, and currently holds a board position with DLG Inc. Diane graduated from the University of Waterloo and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

William Clarke

Mr. Clarke has extensive experience in international trade and investment, and is a strong advocate for Canadian industry. He served in Canada's foreign service for 34 years with assignments around the world, most notably as Canadian Ambassador to Brazil and to Sweden and the Baltic Republics. Mr. Clarke was former President, CEO and Director of Pitchblack Resources Ltd, as well as President and CEO of the Canadian Nuclear Association. He also served as a Director of Brazil Potash Corp. and Largo Resources Ltd. He currently serves on the Board of four international companies and provides consulting and advocacy services for companies as a member of Trade Commissioner Consulting Services Inc.
